The AstroLab 88 features a premium hammer-action keybed designed to bridge the gap between virtual instrumentation and live performance requirements. It integrates a powerful software ecosystem, allowing musicians to deploy presets from Analog Lab, V Collection, and Pigments without a computer. The hardware supports a variable polyphony of up to 48 voices and includes extensive connectivity options such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and MIDI 2.0. Eight 360-degree potentiometers provide tactile macro control over instrument parameters and effects, including dedicated slots for delay and reverb. Onboard performance tools include an arpeggiator, looper, sequencer, and a vocoder accessible via the combination XLR/TRS inputs. The instrument is housed in a robust chassis suitable for professional stage environments and studio integration.
