The Boss GM-800 Guitar Synthesizer utilizes the advanced ZEN-Core Synthesis System and a newly developed Serial GK interface to provide professional guitarists and bassists with an expansive sonic library. High-performance DSP ensures exceptional tracking stability and a natural playing feel, allowing for the seamless integration of over 1200 tones and 70 rhythm sounds. The unit features a versatile Scene workflow that supports four tone parts plus rhythm, enabling complex layering and string-specific sound assignments.

Constructed for both desktop and pedalboard use, the GM-800 includes comprehensive connectivity options such as USB audio/MIDI, standard 5-pin MIDI I/O, and external control jacks for expression pedals. The system is expandable via Roland Cloud, offering access to sound packs and wave expansions to further enhance the creative potential of the instrument. Integrated multi-effects processors provide over 90 effect types per scene, ensuring complete control over signal processing and output shaping.
