The Boss HM-2W Waza Craft Heavy Metal distortion pedal features premium all-analog circuitry designed to reproduce the iconic "chainsaw" tone of the original 1983 unit. This updated version includes a dual-mode toggle, allowing users to switch between the classic Swedish death metal sound and a Custom mode that provides increased gain with enhanced low and mid-range response.

Engineered with a high-quality buffer for signal integrity when bypassed, the pedal offers precise tonal shaping through Level, Distortion, and High/Low Color Mix controls. It operates on a 9V DC power supply or a single 9V battery, drawing 30mA of current to deliver consistent high-gain performance across both clean and dirty amplifier channels.
