Neumann TLM 170 R mt Studio Microphone

The Neumann TLM 170 R mt is a transformerless large-diaphragm condenser microphone offering five selectable polar patterns and an enormous 130 dB dynamic range. Its K89 dual-diaphragm capsule delivers a remarkably linear frequency response both on and off axis, capturing the natural sound of any source without coloration.

With a self-noise of just 14 dB-A and the ability to handle SPLs up to 154 dB with preattenuation, this microphone is equally suited for delicate orchestral recordings and loud instrument sources. The optional N248 PSU enables remote pattern control via phantom voltage variation.
