Shure BETA 98H/C Miniature Cardioid Condenser Instrument Microphone

The Shure BETA 98H/C is a premium cardioid condenser microphone engineered for brass, woodwind, and percussion instruments. Its integrated gooseneck and ratcheting swivel joint allow for precise capsule placement at the instrument's acoustic sweet spot. The clip-on clamp design ensures a secure fit on instrument bells without requiring external hardware. This microphone features a transformerless preamplifier circuit for improved linearity and a tailored frequency response. It reliably handles high sound pressure levels and provides excellent rejection of unwanted noise. The unit includes a 3-meter high-flex cable with an XLR connector and requires 48V phantom power.
