The SY-1000 is a high-performance guitar and bass synthesis processor featuring a custom DSP engine with 48 kHz/32-bit internal processing. It integrates advanced GK independent string processing to deliver ultra-articulate response, zero-latency tracking, and the ability to layer three simultaneous instrument types for complex sound design.

This professional unit includes refreshed versions of historic Roland guitar synth technologies alongside a new Dynamic Synth engine with dual 16-part step sequencers. Housed in a robust chassis with eight assignable footswitches and a large graphic LCD, it offers extensive I/O including USB audio/MIDI and a 13-pin GK interface for comprehensive rig integration.
