Ernie Ball Hybrid Slinky Nickel Wound 4-String Electric Bass Strings 45-105 Gauge is a complete 4-string electric bass guitar set from Ernie Ball’s Slinky Nickel Wound range. This Hybrid Slinky version uses the exact 45-105 gauge combination, with 4 individual strings supplied as one set.

The strings are roundwound, with nickel-plated steel wrap wire around a hex-shaped steel core. This is nickel-plated steel construction, rather than a pure-nickel wrap or a flatwound ribbon. Ernie Ball describes the resulting sound as bright and balanced, paired with the familiar Slinky playing feel.

Each bass string is manufactured in the Coachella Valley of Southern California. The manufacturer offers multiple Slinky gauge combinations, so match the individual diameters below to your preferred setup rather than relying only on the range name.
