The Neumann TLM 170 R is a studio condenser microphone that combines technical excellence with the smoothness and flexibility of a large diaphragm capsule. It offers an exceptionally even frequency response across five selectable directional patterns, which can be remote controlled via the optional N248 PSU.
With an enormous dynamic range of 130 dB, very low self-noise of 14 dB-A, and the ability to handle SPLs up to 154 dB with preattenuation, the TLM 170 R is a truly universal microphone suitable for orchestral recordings, vocals, and speech.
