The PRS SE Swamp Ash Special features a solid swamp ash body known for its resonant, balanced tonal response and lightweight handling. It incorporates a bolt-on maple neck with a Wide Thin carve and a 22-fret maple fingerboard for enhanced note clarity and playability. The versatile HSH pickup configuration includes two 85/15 “S” humbuckers paired with a PRS-designed AS-01 alnico/steel single-coil middle pickup. Integrated push-pull tone controls allow for coil-splitting, providing a total of five distinct pickup voicings for diverse musical applications. Hardware includes a PRS Patented Tremolo bridge and PRS-designed tuners to ensure consistent tuning stability and expressive performance capabilities. This instrument ships with a padded gig bag and is finished in a classic gloss acrylic urethane Vintage Sunburst.
