The Samson MCD2 Pro is a stereo passive direct box designed to connect unbalanced line-level signals from laptops, CD/MP3 players, and DJ mixers to professional balanced equipment. Its road-ready 14-gauge steel chassis and dual Mu-metal shielded transformers ensure reliable, high-quality signal transmission for live sound and recording applications.

Featuring dual 1/4", RCA, and a stereo 1/8" input, the MCD2 Pro accommodates various consumer audio sources. Selectable Stereo/Mono summing, a 2-position 0dB/-12dB attenuation switch, and a Ground Lift switch provide flexibility for different PA systems and input levels, while balanced XLR outputs deliver clean signals over longer cable runs.
